What was the significance of the title?

  1. The significance of the title is that Alexander Supertramp actually goes to Alaska and goes " Into the Wild." Into thewild means that he is living off of the land and is surviving onhisown withjust a few basic necessities needed to survive.

  2. The significance of the title is quite simple. The main character, Alex Supertramp/Chris McCandless, actually ends up going into the wild of Alaska. Meaning that he's going to depend on the Alaskan wilderness to help him survive.

  5. The significance of the title basically gives it away. Alex/Chris goes 'into the wild' of the Alaskan wilderness and tries to survive living off the land and its natural environment.

  6. The significance is that its the words that Chris McCandless used when he sent out a post card to his friends "I now go into the wild" its what he did he went off into the wild to live his dream and become what he thought a man.
