Who would you recommend the book to?

  1. I would recommend this book to anyone who thinks they can climb Mt. Hood. My reasoning behind this is that every year it seems we have to spend three months looking for a group of stranded hikers. They waist everyone elses time and money because they think they can do it but ithey reallly can't and end up dying and hurting the people around them. they are just selfish.

  2. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes the outdoors but also is aware of its dangers and people who like true stories with actual accounts from the person its about. Maybe it would inspire someone to try and do this themselves or even know to not be dumb and if they were going into the woods to bring sufficient gear in order to survive.

  3. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to be out in the wilderness and likes any sort of adventure. I think this book would be a good read for any person but particularly would be interesting for a male that could relate to Alex with some of his own situations. I do not think this book would be a good read for anyone under the age of about 12 because for one it is too challenging and two they may get ideas and may want to do something like Alex did and that would not be too smart for a child.

  4. I would recomend this book to people that really enjoy the outdoors or have considered to go live out in the wilderness so they can see what it's like. I wouldn't recomend it to people who don't enjoy the outdoors or people that don't like it when books jump around from the present to the past
